Passing handwritten notes to friends in class was great sport for years. But now that we’ve found the electronic means to share private (and more public) information between students, the control issues for teachers has become more complicated. It could be that student’s motivation (beyond the compulsory nature of American education at least) is lacking. Further parental controls of the devices they carry to school might also be lacking. Just a couple of thoughts on the issue.
